Despite the sunnier days we have had, I had to add this photo from underneath the Shard.

A streetlight shines bright under the grey clouds, mirrored and reflected by the iconic Shard skyscraper. The following photo shows a now rarely seen aeroplane flying into the distance, seen between the Shard and the building next to it.

I hope to bring you some sunnier shots in the upcoming posts!

      1. Yeah, eerie, moody, glad to be inside, sad…..all those emotions. I have a couple of shots from our Alaska cruise that are very moody to us, but we liked them. We were ported at Sitka, but it was too small for the ship to go to shore, so the tenders ferried everyone who wanted to go, into Sitka. It was dark, rainy, & just a generally miserable day. I took the couple of photos as the tenders were leaving, & it was a line of them headed into shore, but the way they turned out, I had to enlarge & frame them. My husband went but I didn’t because I had already gotten soaked out in the rain the day before. Too bad I can’t upload pc files.

      2. How come you can’t upload pc files? That is a shame, because it would be nice to see them! I wouldn’t mind bad weather in Alaska, it would add a dramatic effect I am sure 😀

    1. Thanks Hannah! I’m glad it came out well. Especially with it narrowing at the top, I think the under angle shots work well with these buildings 🙂

    1. I think it’s comforting when we know we are safe on the other side of the screen 😀 thank you Nadia, I am not usually the best with timing but this one worked out well. I hope you are back flying soon!
