My Australian Journey #10: Dogs that know how to Instagram

The weather varies in today’s pictures. I crossed the Sydney Harbour Bridge with beautiful weather and managed to get some great shots of Circular Quay below. A few days later I went on the Sculptures by the Sea Bondi to Coogee walk on a more overcast afternoon.

If you haven’t seen what it looks like to walk over the Harbour Bridge, here it is. Tall fencing, but enough gaps in the wiring to get some great shots.

The blue skies really helped here. Sadly the same couldn’t be said on my Bondi to Coogee walk, a must do however when in Sydney. Not that the weather is a deal breaker for me, for some of the sculptures it adds something. If you want to take a look, I have plenty more shots from this walk on my post from the Sculptures by the Sea.

A fun game I thought I would play with you all is ‘What sign do you relate to the most?’ with the images below. This was a funny installment on the walk, the sign changing every few seconds with some humorous, inspiring and sometimes blunt advice. Sometimes blunt is necessary for us all…

I hope the signs provide more motivation than anything.

And a little cuteness to end today’s post. This dog was happily sitting and looking out to the ocean on my walk, it was easy to mistake him/her for a sculpture too.

It is the preferred pose on Instagram when looking through the travel section, I have a thing or two to learn.

I hope you like today’s pics, and if any of the signs relate to your current situation in any way I would love to know which. I think for me ‘pull your finger out’ is one I need to action the most as I have way too many pictures to upload in a short time frame. So that I will do.

Thank you for reading and see you all soon!

  1. LOL, the digital sign was funny. Great picture of the Quay also. It’s a shame the fence was partially obstructing the view.

BTW, that was no sculpture, that was Lazerbeak, the Decepticon transformer, 😀

    1. Haha I had fun reading the signs as they changed. I do have some pictures that were taken without the fencing in view, I just wanted to add it to show what the actual scene looked like. It is easy to get a great view of the harbour unobstructed 🙂

And can I then count this as a famous person I have seen in person? I think a transformer counts 😀

      1. No, but he follows people around and wags his tail like a dog. He squeaks like a mouse and howls like a wolf. He goes outside during thunderstorms, and into greenhouses in 35-degree heat. He’s a bit strange. 🤣
