Meet and Greet page: Introduce yourself here!

Welcome to my meet and greet page, inspired by some of the first bloggers I followed and I have love that my followers are eager to put their blog posts out there and read the posts shared by others. For this reason I have introduced this page and I will keep returning to it regularly.
I feel my community is now large enough to provide a page for you to promote your blog and get to know other bloggers a little better.

So with that, feel free to introduce yourself here. Who are you and where are you from? I would love to see the diversity here with such an international blogging audience and feel free to link your blog for others to read.

New to this page? Welcome!

Already posted here in the past? Feel free to stop by and say hello anytime.

It is going to be hard if not impossible to keep up with comments on here whilst I publish posts around it, however I am constantly on the page looking at all the contributions and I will re-post this regularly to give a better opportunity for posts to be seen.

Hopefully you find a new cool blog to follow and someone feels the same way about yours 🙂

Happy blogging!

  2. Hi Sam!

This is such a great idea, I love it!

Thank you for following my blog Some of the articles are funny, some are very much not, and some are just silly fun.

It’s early here in San Francisco so I’ll copy/paste this from my page
” I write about my struggles with bipolar disorder, the everyday joy, pain, and peeks into my life, an always unflinchingly honest look at the struggles and victories from my experience.”

Yes, I just quoted myself. I can only be so clever without caffeine.
Looking forward to reading your work!

  3. Hi everyone, this is 🙂 Thank you Sam for such a great idea of meet-and-greet.
My (or rather our family) blog is about traveling and random thoughts that come along with that. I’m new to blogging, so this is an experiment that takes my mind away from daily (and at times annoyingly frustrating) work. Plus it’s a way to capture our travels so when I’ll be in a mood to reminisce or would be looking for ways to bring back memories, this would be my go to place 🙂

  4. Thanks for the meet and greet page! and
Welcome! To DailyBiblePrayer.wordpress. May God bless you with encouragement, direction and protection as you grow in your relationship with Him through the scriptures and spending time in prayer!
Be sure to click on the scriptures at the bottom to read and see what God will share with you personally!
    God bless you this week.

  6. This page is a great idea, thanks for setting it up!
I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but for the past five years have been living and working in Yakutsk, the world’s coldest city, in the Sakha Republic in north-eastern Siberia (Russia). I started my blog to give family and friends a glimpse of what life is like in this little-known but beautiful part of the world.

  7. Thanks for the follow, Sam! I’m in Montreal for work temporarily this year but my life for the past two decades has been in Japan. As I’ve gotten older and started a family, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with my family history, which is what I blog about. Ah, in addition to science and random science fiction type stuff. 🧪 🧬 👽 Anyway, I’m impressed with your consistency. A good model for bloggers everywhere!

  8. What a fun idea for a purposeful comment space. I’m analogue Kate, here and on IG (@analogue.kate) and I believe in the power of our innate creativity to make a big impact on the world, as well as heal our own wounds. I’m a nomadic homebody (a.k.a. an expat) who turns small scraps of paper into watercolor art, and subscribes to the belief that “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is wasted.” You can find me at to read about mindfulness, creativity, and striving to live a life on purpose. Hoping to see you there!

  9. HI Sam,

Great blog! Thank you for following me! This page is a great idea 🙂 I love looking at other people’s blogs.

My name is Kate and I have a travel and lifestyle blog. I love seeing different parts of the world and sharing images, but I also feel like I always have so much to say but never enough people to say it to, so that’s really why I started my blog!

  10. So, I’m a bit ADD (OK, maybe a lot) and my blog probably lacks a bit of focus. I write about things I encounter in my life that interest me. This week I have written about my hometown being in the national news over a local company that won’t comply with our local ordinance about flag sign, posted a very amateur video I did on the wedding of the daughter of a couple of college friends, wrote about my dad on Father’s Day, and a post about the ongoing saga of my unemployment. Other times I write about faith, travel, people….whatever is on my mind. Sometimes I write often, sometimes rarely, but I do enjoy it. I’d love you to check it out.

  11. Hi, Sam; thanks for the follow and for giving us a chance to share our blogs 🙂

I’m an author, currently working on my next novel. I also write a blog, mostly about books, writing, and creativity, with some photography (my own), art (other people’s), and a few random topics that I’m interested in, as well. Please stop by and take a look:

  12. Thank you for the follow Sam! This is such a lovely idea 🙂 My blog is – I upload my writing, discussions about my struggles with bipolar, and general musings on life. I am also hoping to host other people’s creative works, particularly those that are the product of trying to cope with mental illness! Please stop by if you’re interested! 🙂

  13. What a brilliant idea. Spotted some blogs I’m definitely keen to follow.

I’m Phileas Fiona (nickname created by a friend, but she needn’t think she’s getting any royalties).

At the grand old age of 42 (a number that Douglas Adams highlighted as being the answer to the meaning of life), I’ve resigned from my job, found a house and (more importantly) cat sitter and am heading off on a year’s worth of travel. Is this a midlife crisis? Have I booked the correct tickets? Will my visa applications be rejected? Is this this all going to go horribly wrong? Let’s find out.

I’ve worked in Public Health in the UK for the last 20 years so I’m keen to use my travels to observe some of what happens in other countries to improve peoples health. I also love finding street art in the different cities I visit, so expect to see lots of photos of brightly coloured murals too. There is already quite a lot on my linked Instagram account already. Oh, and there will probably be quite a lot of cake too – I quite like the idea of afternoon tea in every major city I visit.

My blog is taking shape and I write about my experiences of preparing for travel (without dictating) as well as linked Public Health issues. It’s early days and I’m really enjoying finding such great online communities too. At this rate, I will be reading more than I write.

    Take care.

  14. Hey Sam, great idea, thanks for setting this up!!

I’m Thomas, a motivational psychologist and hobby philosopher from Switzerland, who has recently started writing essays on happiness (in English): The latest post is on loving more freely, check it out!

I’m a fan of stoicism, epicureanism, buddhism, daoism, existentialism, psychotherapy, and contemporary happiness studies, so if you’re interested in how any of these can make your life better in a practical way, follow me!

    Much love to all,

  15. Thank you Sam for the Follow!!! This is a wonderful idea!

A little about my blog, I am a new mom with twins! I have been dealing with postpartum depression and all the other struggles of new mom-hood. I have also come to realize that being a twin mom is somewhat lonely and that you have to discover tips, tricks, and hacks on your own. I figured why not share my own in hopes other new moms may find them useful. I am a firm believer that it takes a village to raise kids and that support from not only moms but dads is always appreciated. It’s not all serious on my page. I love to have fun! Since I’m not a regular mom, I’m a COOL mom!

If you follow me, I will follow back! SUPPORT FOR EVERYONE!!!

    Happy Blogging!

    We Out!

Guess I started with a nice presentation of myself, don’t you think?

I would love to invite all of you to visit my site and why not follow this gorgeous woman with a good sense of humor (well depends on the days and hormones levels) 😀 😀

Anyway I’m writing mostly about relationships and issues, how to solve. It’s so easy to have one harmonious relationship with us and others.

“Ouso Escrever” in portuguese means in english “I dare to write” 🙂

Enjoy your week and see ya 🙂

  17. Thank you for the follow Sam!

Hello! My name is Lucas and I like to tell stories of the boring life I lead. I try to write about food, but I feel like other topics might take precedence in some cases. I started the blog quite recently because my brother told me that I should put as much passion into my writing as I do into my video games(let me tell ya, school doesn’t give writing for fun the justice it deserves, but oh well…).

I hope y’all have a wonderful day and oh yeah I should plug my link here I guess…

  20. Hi Sam,

Great idea with a meet and greet! I’m a historian and a mom but my blog is just about the history. I’ve never actively advertised my website, so here goes!

My blog was originally well researched articles about random bits of history (like medieval music and plague doctors) but morphed into a place to find historic food recipes. I recreate all kinds of recipes from ancient Roman and medieval to early 20th century American. It’s a ton of fun! Check it out at
