After the recent and rather pessimistic question in my recent post What do you hate? I felt it was time to lift the spirits and spread a little more happiness throughout the WordPress Community. I took this picture back in 2014 on a beautiful riverboat trip in Belem, Brazil during sunset. I remember how relaxing it was and how happy the staff were, they are the ones you can see dancing in the photo and got the whole boat up onto their feet.
I love travel. I love my supportive family and friends that have supported me in anything I do and have done, even if it means having to leave them temporarily as I travel to the other side of the world. I love having the freedom to travel and live freely. I love music, particularly rock music and the band Muse, and taking photographs of the places I am able to see and live in an era that makes it possible to share this with the world.
I love blogging, conversations and debates and sharing my thoughts and views on this blog with the bloggers I engage with daily.
And with this, I ask you…

Ideal for blogging! I’m so glad we live in a time that makes this possible, and to share it to the world.

Most of all … I love when the young adults put away their phones so we can enjoy conversation and catch up on family news over a good meal.

Haha, I’m so bad at this, but I’m trying to be better. But I did hear that children decades or even centuries ago were complained about for always having a book in their hand… I need to find the article or YouTube video about it as it humoured me. Times change but people often don’t!

I love running, writing, coaching, mind opening experiences (good books, deep convos, etc) and spending time with those who I feel 100% comfortable with.

I need your help with the running part… since finishing my farmwork I have avoided any kind of excercise, and the longer I avoid it the harder it is to get back into it! It doesn’t help that I had to throw my running shoes away as farm work destroyed them…
Nice answers though, it is good to spend time with those that deserve your time.

I’ve never done farmwork but I imagine that’s harder exercise than running! Then again I have no upper body strength. It sounds like you get a fair amount of walking in which is still good exercise. I don’t recommend serious running until you would get good quality shoes for it again.

I agree, I need the right shoes. I find they are both tough, if it is hot the farmwork is very hard, and I would much prefer to be running instead as I have more freedom! What I didn’t like about farmwork was that it was a job, so it became very boring very fast. Some people are better suited to certain jobs too. Watermelons require more upper body strength, whereas planting requires lots of squatting. Planting was the worst!

I love that I’m actually able to enjoy whatever I’m doing, even if it’s not 100% what I would want to do. I love that I’m not yet stressed out (midterms next week; by this point, I don’t ask for much). I love that so many people around me are willing to take the leap and talk to a complete stranger (okay, not complete, being in the same university as me, but still) and are so friendly, I love the internet for the fact that I can blog (and also that I’m miraculously able to push out a post or two every once in a while) and call home with ridiculous frequency.
And I don’t need to tell you this, but I love music, and I love Muse!

Haha, I was waiting for the last one :p
It sounds like university is going great, and I am glad that you aren’t stressed. I am sure that you will continue to make friends for life and what made moving away from home easier for me was like you said, you can call home at any time instantly.
Cheers Matt!

Because of my stomach issues, I’ve got to have ginger ale. If I had my way, I’d be drinking Coca-Cola and Root Beer sodas all day
