Here are some shots from Chinese New Year, I realised I hadn’t added the folder onto my blog, so this is a nice time to add it whilst I get myself settled in my new location. Sorry it is a little late, but better late than never!
Do you have a favourite? I really like the bull/dinosaur beast made of boxes in the last couple shots. The dog was cool also, as it had a moving tongue and tail, bringing it to life just a little. They all looked great as the sun set!
They look amazing! 😀
They looked cool after sunset, they were an impressive size too!
Cool! I like the last couple of shots best! It looks huge and alive! 🙂
I am glad you liked them! 🙂
Nothing like having a New Year any time of the year! I love the tiger … looks quite relaxed watching the world go by!
Another excuse for a celebration 😉 The tiger looked great, very chilled!
Nice pictures
Thanks!
The bridge photograph is terrific.
Thanks Matt! I do like that one a lot 🙂
So pretty! My favorite is also the bull!
Cool! I am glad you liked the shots 🙂
I’m very attracted to Asian styles, foods, architecture, etc. Love the photos, & I wanna play that big mahjongg!
Oh, is that what that is? I didn’t know! Thanks 🙂
Yeah, that’s what that big bull thing is…..mahjongg tiles.
How pretty! I’ll admit ignorance here and say I didn’t know Chinese New Year was celebrated so elaborately anywhere but China!
I guess it is anywhere where there is a good sized Chinese population, so often cities do. Australia and Sydney in particular has a huge Asian and Chinese population so that is why it is celebrated here 🙂
