Sometimes, a click-bait title is acceptable when it is factually correct. At least I hope so, and will find out very soon!

Can you remember this image I posted during theย New Years Eve celebrations in Sydney of the block of flats behind me?

Well… it turns out it was Hugh Jackman and his family and friends having a party. He posted it on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, if the pictures showed just a little more of the building on the right, you would see myself and a few people on one of the roofs down below.

How cool is that?! You never know who is partying around you and who those little people are in the distance. I hope Wolverine had a fun night.

      1. That is true. That is why I have enjoyed working in various hotels in the past, you get a lot of pleasant surprises there too!

  1. Awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€

I guess the chances of something like that happening is greater when you live in one of the major cities of the world.
Doubt he will ever party anywhere near me ๐Ÿ˜›

      1. Bergen, second biggest city in Norway (meaning; not that big) ๐Ÿ˜›

I actually like that it is calm here, but that may just be a result of growing up here.

      2. I’ve been there ๐Ÿ™‚ I took the Fjordline ferry from Newcastle, UK (where I am from) when it operated years ago. It was beautiful and very hot!!!

      3. Hot?
Must have been a weird day!
Or maybe that is compared to Newcastle? ๐Ÿ˜›

I were in Newcastle during my Interrail-trip years ago, mostly to see “Hogwarts”.

Never been to Australia, really want to some day!

      4. I was warned it rains a lot… However we went in summer and I can promise you it was a very hot day!! I was only a kid but both Stavanger and Bergen were very sunny, it was a pleasant surprise!

      5. Yeah, it is due to the seven mountains around the city.
Wind pushes vapor from the sea up the mountains, creating lots of rain-clouds, or something like that.
        We suffer for our beauty!

We are sometimes blessed with nice weather.
I think Stavanger has a lot of nice weather actually.

      6. I cannot remember which city has the nicest weather… But at least the beauty makes up for wetter weather!

It is so strange because before we even talked on here I had a quick flashback to being on the ferry… I went with my grandparents, both of which are no longer here. It is fascinating after all this time that I thought about that trip and had this conversation on the same day. Strange!

      7. Did you visit Durham? That is closer to where I am from ๐Ÿ™‚ it’s a beautiful city, as is Newcastle. They probably get similar summers to you.
Australia is on another level in terms of heat, this weekend will be close to 40c, so I’m preparing for that…

      8. Don’t think so.
England was a bit of a rush before I got back to the mainland.

        Maybe one day ๐Ÿ™‚
Wish that boat was still running :/
