It’s times like these that I remind myself I need to buy an actual camera for photography. This was the most incredible moon I have ever seen and it didn’t show well on the iPhone at all.

There are so many people behind me taking the same shot of the couple underneath the reflection, they will be in plenty of IG shots tonight!

    1. Thanks for stopping by my blog, that’s a good way to think about it, and I made sure I viewed the sight away from my camera too. It turns out this event was a super moon, so I was there at the right time!

    1. It was for me too, I showed some friends this image and they were shocked at how bright the reflection was! Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I know exactly what you mean! We went up the mountain in Hokkaido for one of the most beautiful night views and then our iPhone cameras couldn’t capture anything. We have to store these images in our own memory ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. It’s the worst isn’t it? At least the iPhone images remind you of the occasion, then you can go into your memory bank and see it again in all its glory!

  2. I have just seen the moon and the sea together recently during dusk, and I have to admit, the iPhone doesn’t do justice to its beauty.

    1. It doesn’t does it? I think that a lot about iPhone shots, if only it could capture what our eyes can.
I hope you had a lovely evening!

      1. The best camera is always the one you have with you, but “real” cameras sure are fantastic!

  3. I think this is a beautiful composition! The different stripes of pastel colour that blend into each other and how the yellow of the girl’s jumper is repeated in the sand, the sea, the sky.

    1. Thank you! Sometimes photographs beg to be taken with little effort from the person capturing it, I was very lucky to be around to see this night sky ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you look out for future posts.
