There is something very eerie about abandoned teddy bears. 

It’s like they have been placed there to let you know you weren’t, or aren’t, the only person there. Someone knew you would turn up and this was their way to acknowledge this.

That, or it is a supportive way to let you know you aren’t alone. A sign of comfort on a lonely walk. A dropped toy being given a second chance for its intended use for others after being lost by the previous owner. 

It’s strange how something that exists for joy can bring such drastically different emotions in a different setting. Clowns are another great example of this. Hopefully you won’t find one of these in the woods.
