‘Religion doesn’t have all the answers, but neither does science’ is a terrible argument.
I can forgive science for not having all the answers, it’s totally understandable. Nature cannot talk, how is it expected to provide the answers? We have to discover answers ourselves and with our limited capabilities, I will sleep tonight knowing that science does not have all the answers.
Religion needs to have the answers. It is arrogant to suggest that because science does not have the answers, why should religion? Religious pressure is rife and demanding, yet hilarious.
‘I don’t have all the answers, but neither do you!’
True, but I’m not claiming to have a perfect and flawless belief system, you are. If this is not what you’re claiming, what is your reason for worship?
It’s like claiming that humans have a better sense of smell than a dog. If the dog does, why hasn’t it said so by now? I’m going to assume it hasn’t.
