‘A locket is just a locket, a chair is just a chair’

There are many sitcoms and comedy shows on TV that as funny as they are, provide some powerful and philosophical moments particularly in the closing scenes. For this reason I love Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother. I do not watch much TV, yet when I watch said shows I often feel motivated or uplifted for one reason or another.

Re-watching an episode of HIMYM, Ted comes out with a very profound statement to an emotional Robin.

I wanted to add this to my blog as it follows on from my most recent post yesterday. We don’t need to look for signs in the universe, that involves searching for deeper meanings in the wrong areas. Areas that are not actually providing any meaning.

By doing so we are at danger of thinking too much, we all make a habit of this. Taking Teds advice means more clarity, more time to see the obvious.

What was in front of us all along.
